The Fortier Lab was recently funded through the project program of the CIHR – Canadian Institutes of Health Research ($1,071,000 for 5 years, 2025-2030). The funded project is titled: “Demystifying virus-host interactions in Clostridioides difficile through genetic engineering of bacteriophages and the bacterial S-layer“.
